A Novel Fault Isolation Scheme in Power System With Dynamic Topology Using Wide-Area Information

چکیده

The flexible and dynamic operation condition of the power system requires that fault isolation scheme has sufficient adaptability. A novel based on wide-area information is proposed in this article. Based graph theory, adjacency matrices electrical components circuit breakers are constructed. real-time switch status data exploited to reflect changes network topology. Then, tripping path breaker connecting each protected component searched by Floyd–Warshall algorithm formulate set for all components. approach applied from a perspective, it not affected coordination selectivity compared with one local information. effectiveness verified typical connection under cases single fault, multiple faults, failure, substation outage dc supply, case where cannot trip. Since sequence determined before occurs, even conditions, can minimize zone low clearance time.
